Welcome to Pet Obsessed People, the boutique for people obsessed with their pets. We're all about bringing joy to your life while making a positive impact on the world.  Our name reflects the obsessive spirit that our wonderful pets influence and drive us. 

Our shop is located in the heart of Austin, Texas, and we offer a carefully curated selection of hand-illustrated, items that are sure to make you wag your tail.

The Owner and Designer Behind POP

My name is Alex, and my entrepreneurial journey began as a tribute to my beloved pet, Vanity, and a mission to spread joy through art. It all started with a simple desire – to capture the unique essence of my pets, as I couldn't find items that truly represented them. So I fixed that. I drew my pups, and when Vanity passed away did a fundraiser in her honor. Everything took off from there.

From the very beginning, my unwavering passion for doodling and my deep love for animals have been guiding my product development. Custom pet portraits are at the heart of my business, my absolute favorite part. Beyond custom creations, I love designing items to delight every pet obsessed enthusiast! I'm dedicated to creating diverse, fun, and imaginative items for all to enjoy.

My mission has always been to make the world a better place through delightful designs, sustainable practices, and giving back. At the core of my company is a commitment to doing good and giving back – with each purchase, a portion goes toward a worthy cause. I also prioritize sustainability, choosing eco-friendly options whenever possible, with the long-term goal of making the entire shop sustainable one day.
